CNN's John Defterios asks whether Germany sees the Ukraine crisis as a bump on their own back to business as usual. He says there is much more knowledge about Ukraine now in Germany and greater interest, indeed, sympathy for Ukraine. If Ukraine transforms successfully into a democratic state integrated into Europe, which I believe it will at some point, then this will fundamentally change Russia's position in Europe, he adds.
