How Does a Sunburn Work?

The other kind absorbs the UV waves correct and like transforms them into heat. And if you're out in the sun, trying to not get sunburned, you're already around heat anyways,. You probably wouldn't even really notice it. So that's pretty crazy. That can actually transform the waves and like, render them like, disarm them basically. It's so amazing to me that people figured this out and thought through it.
