Sally Kohn: I'm also an atheist, but when people say that, oh, atheism is just another belief system, I have to correct them and point out that atheism is actually an absence of belief. So it is no more a belief system than not collecting stamps as a hobby. That's kind of, so I wouldn't even call atheism a framework, but the absence of a false framework is kind of where it fits in. She says some feminists today would pass judgment on Lakshmi by Thilak because she stayed with her husband who was 'horrible' But you can't impose today's values on someone who lived eight years ago. You know what society was like.
