The Life and Times of Thomas Ettory
Ettory was considered to be the smartest physicist among his peers. He is notoriously shy and often antisocial. Ettory left Rome for a time to live in Germany to study under Werner Heisenberg. In 1937, he returned to academia and took a teaching position at the University of Naples.
