How to Orient Variation Around a Target of Well-Being
Economics is a process of cultural evolution we need to intentionally orient variation around a particular consciously deliberated and chosen upon target. I think that you could see much of the history of political economic discourse as the history of people arguing about how best to orient economic variation around well-being. Ostrom principles basically they make you well adapted to your current situation but they don't necessarily make you flexible adaptive bull. The difference between being well adapted and being adaptive bull is a very important distinction. A smart city needs perceptual organs, in this case we're building in a way for any resident of the city to signal a dysfunction like an automobile assembly line worker.
