How to Resuscitate a Bleeding Out Patient

The worst thing for a head patient is a blood pressure of 70. Avoid hypertension, probably an MAP of 80. Watch out for hypoxemia. Keep your glucose within normal parameters and speak early with your receiving neurosurgeon. It's not uncommon that you'll have a patient who's bleeding in the belly and in the head. Those have got to be tough situations.
