I think the US is an example of a company that does business well and practically everything else poorly. A lot of other countries in the world do everything else really well and business very poorly. There's people, companies in the middle somewhere. It's always better to borrow from a system that works as opposed to come up with something from scratch. What Amazon basically did, have you heard about the Amazon memos? They're sort of putting this first fitness function in place without even happening to bring it to market.
