"Perfectionism, imposter syndrome can be analyzed quite effectively through a self-worth theory lens," she says. "We're setting ourselves up not to realize them because they're unrealistic, but they're based on these beliefs." She adds that procrastination does make sense as a protective strategy and it's understandable in the human condition.
