The Conflict Between a Modern and a Materialist Theory of Race

Anime is probably bad for kids. Maybe it's okay for adults, but you probably should keep it away from children. There's a strong desire for kind of dispossessed white people to start transracializing themselves into Asian cartoon characters. And these kids trying to turn themselves Japanese or Korean so that they can become their favorite anime or kpop star through wishful thinking. They report these funny things like, yeah, I think my eyelids changed shape. My skin came out slightly different color because I drank some potion and went to sleep. But what actually makes it makes sense is that the two are constituted completely differently.
