Is the Return on Equity a Good Thing?

Businesses that can re invest their capital so or their ned income. And they don't have to put it back into the business and grow their assets in order just to continue making money. That's why a a coco cola or an apple would be a lot better business model than oil. They each make money at the end of the year, but apple and cocacola have a lot more of that money freed up. So i think that's what's going on with return on equity.
