Between 1933 and 1962 they would give out over 120 billion dollars in home loans and business loans. Two-thirds of all African American workers were blocked from Social Security until the program was expanded in the 1950s. Next one of the most massive policy initiatives ever undertaken by the US government was the Servicemen's Re-Adjustment Act of 1944 better known as the GI Bill of Rights. Among other things the program sent veterans of World War II and later the Korean and Vietnam Wars to college.
When it comes to U.S. government programs and support earmarked for the benefit of particular racial groups, history is clear. White folks have received most of the goodies.
