Cyrus isn't mentioned in the same breath as Alexander or Genghis Khan. That period from the fall of the Assyrian Empire late seventh century to the mid sixth. We don't have this rich trove of royal inscriptions accessible to us that we do from, for example, the Assyrian King Ashurbanipal or Cyrus's successor Darius. But I think that will change over time.
