I Was a Bit of an Outsider at Oxford
I knew this was inevitable when the economic reforms of 19 91 came about. The job i took editing a glossy magazine, which many of my oxford contemporaries thought was a strange thing to do after having studied pp for three years. But in answer to your bigger question, which is that as india has expanded and the old middle class counts for less and less, do how do i o for that? I don't think anybody expected the direction it would take.
