Ohio Republicans Are Worried About the Percentage of Votes Needed to Amend the State Constitution
In November, Ohio voters will decide whether to enshrine abortion rights into the state constitution. Abortion in Ohio is currently legal up to 22 weeks of pregnancy. In 2019, the Republican led legislature passed a law banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy before many women know that they are pregnant.
