The Importance of a New Generation Leader in Iowa
Ron DeSantis is trying to draw contrast with Donald Trump, but at the same time he's trying to co-opt Trumpism. I think you sense in Iowa a willingness to turn the page and primarily on not because of what President Trump has done as president in those four years. They want somebody who can win; they want a new generational leader that has a vision for the future just not a complaint about the past. evangelical voters historically have been so pivotal in Iowa two thirds of the turnout almost last time.
