Is the Fed Playing Tough Guy?
The Fed is going to have to loosen into still elevated inflation at some point in 2023. If they try to play tough guy, higher authorities in macroeconomic theory are going to step in and say, you're fired. So I think that they're forced to. You get to a point where it seems like you do get into that Rudy Havercy at the moment where the Fed is just printing money like it's going out of style and it really is fueling a runaway inflation.
