Introduction
In the early 19 seventies, forest hills became a national symbol of white middle class resistance to integration instead of public schools. In two thousand 19 when a diversity planning process came district, some of the most vocal opponents were parents from forest hills. The people who paid good money to live in those neighborhoods and are getting into the quotum quo felt like there's nothing wrong with this system.
