The Importance of Celebrity Relationships

In our culture paparazzi photos are just a part of celebrity life even when the pandemic was at its height in 2020 celebrities were regularly photographed walking their dogs. While celebrity ships can be fun they can be escapist they can build communities but ultimately what's important to remember is that we don't know any of these people and it's unfair to project moral idolatry onto anyone anyway. Kate curtain researched a lot on parasocial relationships and because parasocial relationships are such a big part of why we care about celebrity relationships as a whole i thought it would be a good companion topic to discuss in this episode.
