He deserves it for the performances he's put in. He has been playing very well for quite a long time. The commentary on Match of the Day was pretty painful. A lot has happened in three years and like you say, this is not something that's happened overnight. If it happened in the last game and then he came on and scored a winner against Spurs, whatever it is, it just felt like so forced. I know people always want to try and make comparisons or say, you know... It is a really long time.
