The Initiation of a Maladoma

I'm struck by something that one of your friends said, a maladoma, some that i pronounce his name right. The initiation in the traditional sense, was never meant for the individual. It wasn't about making me a better person, more admirable. It was an act of sacrifice on behalf of the community to which now the initiativ is committed and is devoted. And we have that completely twisted round. This is part of the amnesiaye. You forget the structures that create living culture, you're reduced to mimics of it.
