Twitter's Core Values - Restoring the User's Voice
Twitter has said that defending and respecting the user's voice remains one of its core values. Ellie Wilson is a rape survivor from Glasgow who was shocked by Elon Musk's response to her story. She says she finds it most difficult when people say "I wasn't raped or this didn't happen" The messages have been overtly misogynistic, but also about women in general - you know, women lie, women are manipulative, women bring this upon themselves.
