The Diagnosis of Parapartum Cardiomiopathy in the Emergency Department

Papartum cardio miopathy is not a condition we often see in the emergency department, but it's one that i want you to consider when you're seeing a patient in the third trimaster or the post partem period. The case i'm going to tell you about describes some of the diagnostic considerations as well as the management of patients with perapartum cartio miopathy. These patients need to be at tertiary care centre because their risk of decompensation is very high. And if all else fails, you need to mechanically ventilate them early.
