I used to be a lot more critical of my ideas and I think definitely if I go into other areas of creating I get a much more critical like if I ever try to make something really somber then I get super self-critical. The things that I create out of a sense of joy or like kind of chasing a joke and wanting to realize it there's a surprisingly small amount of self doubt in it because I'm also just making myself laugh you have a good barometer what makes you laugh now that people know who you are you're the curator of that, he says.
