KDE project are thinking about this stuff with their sustainability efforts. It's a really difficult topic and it's the same thing for me, Joe. I tend to see computers sometimes as a bit of an escape so I don't think about that stuff because it's too heavy. You think about all the CI, CD pipelines and stuff that must be just churning constantly - burning loads of electricity that is potentially not needed.
