Columbus Was a Jew, Not a Christian, Right?

There is strong evidence that columbus considered himself and his children to be, to be jews. Now, we should a note that that doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't a christian, right? So these categories of jew, crypto jew converso were very fuzzy. You could kind of go back and forth or sort of a, you know, ride a straddle the line, you could say, between what we would consider to be a jew and a christian. And so it's hard to say exactly what columbus's religious beliefs were, but there is pretty good evidence that he came from a jewish background.
