The unique context of disaster really does shape the location, scope and priorities for d m h services. The first priority is to protect people from danger in the trama while theyare in a shelter or a safe place. Second one is to direct people to and help them with their immediate priorities, food, water, medical needs, a and to restore some sense of hope in meaning in that moment. Third priority we think a lot about is that of connection, and really trying to help just nec people to friends and family for support.
