Is There a Shift From Political to Metapolitical?
There seems to be a shift from kind of political questions to like meta political questions right there people aren't really talking about, you know. I think we're at an interesting transition now on the internet where what matters is can an issue become salient within a internet community or alternative realities. And this is actually a way to re inject the world of political power that's embedded in the administrative state into politics. There are certain kinds of policy issues which simply cannot be made interesting on television and therefore cannot become politically salient.
