The three P's: Purpose, stakes and why. You want to identify what is the purpose for wanting this to happen. If you don't have detailed clarity around why it matters so much then as soon as things get hard, you're just going to fold. Anything worth doing should be deeply meaningful where the stakes are high enough for you. And there's also a very substantial likelihood that you'll bump against all sorts of challenges and obstacles along the way.

What if this was the year you actually did the thing that you have dreamed of doing, the thing that’s been in the back of your mind for months or years, maybe even decades? The thing that when you think about it, your whole body responds – exhilarated in part, energized. You can feel it in your heart. And if you’re being honest, maybe along with that tingling of excitement, there’s even a touch of fear and doubt.
