Reverse Dieting to Maintenance
There's really no evidence that it's physiologically advantageous to do this reverse diet as a transition into maintenance again physiologically one might say that there are potentially behavioral advantages to that. We don't really see any physiological advantage where reverse dieting to maintenance would be any better than just going straight to maintenance calories and and hanging out there. There's also some evidence that you know if you want to make the claim that this is going to help uh build up metabolic rate or ensure that a person maintains a leaner physique in the longer term there's actually evidence that directly contradict that set of ideas.
