The Hiccup Reflex
Babies hiccup weigh more than adults. Hiccups may actually trace back evolutionarily to our last common ancestor with amphibians. Tadpole still hiccup, and it's basically a mechanism to kind of quickly close things off - prevent water from getting in their lungs.
