Dorothea Puente - The Killer Granny

Officers surrounded room 31 of the Royal Viking Hotel. Dorothea Puente was arrested on the spot and driven to LAX where she was met by Detective Cabrera and the Sacramento Chief of Police. She was flown back to Sacramento to stand trial in a private jet hired by a local TV station which I'm sure she enjoyed. The prosecution brought forward an enormous amount of circumstantial evidence that pointed the finger squarely at DorotheA Puente. But despite all this, the prosecution still struggled to convince the jury and the case dragged on until 11-1 they found her guilty.
