Satan and the Lord of the Heavens
Vile translates verses nine to 12 in a way that brings the conflict between satan and the lord to the forefront. In verse 18 21, it is the fiery breath of leviathan that is his most notable feature. The figure of the dragon has the power of death and therefore holds people hostage through fear. No weapon human beings have forged is of any use against him.
