House of Wax: A Remake of a 1930s Film
A number of the best moments in this film are kind of just direct remakes of what occurred in Dr. X. Mystery of the Wax Museum is a gorgeous looking two-tone Technicolor Gothic horror film. It has some gray horror elements in it. Some of these elements wouldn't fly to get today either for good reason.
