The Four Things the Christian Tradition Has Led to Sexuality

Sex is not purely a physical act, it's actually a signpost to the greatest story of intimacy and unity that we're in. Even when we have our clothes off we are still hiding and emotionally vulnerable. The very word sex comes from a Latin verb that means to cut off or to sever. And sexual impulses drive us to unite, to restore somehow the union that has been severed. In the Bible they were naked and unashamed, in our culture we were naked and ashamed.
