i was there with a couple of friends, and we just started wandering around. And then we were accosted by somebody who introduced himself as doctor eunace joffrey, the persian professor. It turned out he'd been profiled in william dolrinkle's box, city of chins. He served us delicious chy and offered to teach us persian. i was the only one among our friends who took him up on the offer.And i thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to read the poetry of rumi,. about whom ihad heard, of course.
