Is General Relativity Right?

We are still figuring out whether einstein's vision is correct or not. We know that the universe is quanta mechanical, we know that nothing is smooth and continuous. So it just can't be right, and yet it works so darn well. For example, we have singularities at the hearts of black holes,. Those singularities reflect a failure of the theory. It just ignores the fundamental nature of the universe that's been revealed to us over the last hundred years.
