Gas Stations Aren't Greedy
Over 60% of gas stations in this country are owned by an individual or a family that owns one single store. More than 90% of America's gas stations are either mom and pop outfits or they're chains independent of big oil companies. A gas station typically makes 2 to 5 cents a profit per gallon, depending of course on the station.
