Why I'm So Open About Having a Day Job

I think the reason a lot of people are maybe a bit secretive about having a day job is there is this weird sense of shame and that's why I wanted to be so open, especially as somebody who let you say it wasn't like I was trying to be a comedian and still had a day job. The fact that you was a working class person, dare to talk about it, you're instantly called bitter and jealous is why more people don't talk about it. Fair enough some people don't want to talk about their day job on stage, that is fine, but I mean off stage with other comics in the green rooms,. Just because you have a day job to support your stand
