Is There a Different Approach to AI?

The hope is that we've got to get much better than 70 or 80 percent, which is self-driving cars. A huge amount of AI work has worked on problems where it doesn't really matter if you get it wrong. Whether or not my Tesla hits a camel or a moose matters a great deal. There are other approaches, I can't speak to how commercially feasible they are but in terms of technical limitations, I think other approaches are possible.
