The Winchester Mortuary Chests
The project is being driven by Winchester Cathedral and what's called the Winchester mortuary chests. The reason is because they held the remains of some early kings of Wessex or the West Saxon Kingdom of England. But during the English Revolution, well English Civil War the parliamentarians decided to have a kick about with them. They were all emptied out of their individual mortuary chest that named who should be in there. And so they all got mixed up.
