As a society gets richer and it has the capability, supporting its citizens is absolutely one of the things it needs to do. This is part of you trying to develop the human potential to the maximum. I don't know whether it's going to be successful, but to not try it seems silly to our point. And 80 % of the ideological conversations that happen around this topic seem completely devoid of the people saying like, let's try it out.
