The Effects of Adoptive Transfer on Plasma Cell Production
Neuroscientists use experimental paradigm that is very common in immunology but for a neuroscientist I hadn't really thought about it very much. They can take a mouse um and lead to lea radiate it so and eliminate all dividing hematopoietic cells then they can transplant cells from a different mouse usually a transgenic mouse into the irradiated mouse and do an experiment where they test whether a gene is required only in the cells that are transplanted. The CRISPR knockouts were made on the black six background so they have everything kind of together to do this experiment right?
