Is There a Need for Narrative?

Deeop: I think that if we're not sensitive to those needs of different people, um, in a way that's not just saying, well, we could do without this if it were presented in the right way, or something like that. When we view it through this, you know, lens, it becomes actually indispensable for and not for a negligible amount of people either. The decision about the ordering of the stages is based on an implicit, normative model which often focuses on individual formation rather than development et cetera. And so we either leave it implicit, but i prefer making things explicit because that praves the possibility of transparency.
