Is There a Place for a Discipline?
I think that there is a place for what I would call like a doctrine and a certain level of confidence. Belief almost always is one of my big critiques with what you said earlier as kind of ambient, you know, derogatory about my preference, preference based spirituality. One of his big critiques is that it can't seem to build up and maintain real community around itself long term because there is no shared standard of belief. It's,You know, you can come together in tribalism around what you're against and there is a kind of satisfying creed to be had there. And Christianity as a wisdom tradition produces that.
