The Dallas Mavericks and the David Stern Cup

The Dallas Mavericks currently have the 10th worst record in the NBA. They owe a top 10 protected first round pick to the New York Knicks via the Christav sports, Angus trade of many eons ago. There are already rumblings from the athletics that they might shut down Luca Donchich and Kyrie Irving for the rest of the season. I honestly didn't think they would reach this stage with Luca being healthy.
