Do You Need More Choline to Minimize Liver Fat With Saturated Fat?

Choline is what's protecting against fatty liver, whether it's from fat or sugar. Butter raised that choline requirement about 30% over corn oil. Why might this be? Polyunsaturated fats and shorter chain fats are more easily beta oxidized than the liver. And I suspect that's why you need more choline to minimize liver fat with saturated fat.
