Is the Federal Government a Good Policy Choice in a Recession?
I think one of the big takeaways that we had from the great recession recovery, especially bcause it just took so long. We basically had, all told, probably more than trillion in spending from the federal government in response to the coved recession. I tend to think that we've erred on the side of giving more, which is better. Some of the pain that we are seeing now, while difficult, i don't want to underrate it a trading job losss is not the right trade-off either.
