I had so many dates with women in New York. Successful, bright professional women who complain bitterly about the New York guys. They would date who are also bright, successful professional guys making way more money than me. But they had no personality. And these women were bored to tears. No matter how good the food is, how good the service is, where they are, how high status, the restaurant or the activity or whatever. If the company you're with sucks, then the date sucks.
