When you get an idea, how do you write it down right when you hear the idea? I keep a list in a notebook, like long hand. And then from there, I'll just decide kind of where it best fits. Sometimes my humor comes from giving voice to those things that I think are a little bit of an oddball aside. Fourth draft is where I do add some colors, some humor and make it entertaining.
