Oil resources in the gulf of mexico can come on line within a month, two months or three months. Long term projects that could pump substantial amount of oil have been vilified by this administration and Congress. "You're not going to want to make any of these long term investments because you are concerned that any project that you invest in could just either get shut down by government regulations," he says.
